Traffic count data is an integral component of
transportation and overall county planning efforts. This data can be used for a variety of
purposes such as planning road closures, installation of new stop signs, speed limit
adjustments, and business market analyses. The County receives many requests from
various community stakeholders in need of traffic data in order to make community,
safety, and business decisions. As such, it would be prudent for the County to adopt a
comprehensive annual traffic count program that includes all County maintained streets
and roads, similar to Gwinnett County’s Annual Traffic Count Program |
