As we kick off another year and continue the momentum, I would like to invite you to become a District 1 Volunteer Ambassador. Volunteers are the eyes, ears, and boots on the ground of our District and will help my office to take deeper dives into the needs of our neighborhoods. Ways to Engage

District 1 Neighborhood Councils

Neighborhoods are the life line of broader communities and we want our neighborhoods to thrive. Our District 1 Neighborhood Councils help community members to become informed, consulted, involved and empowered. Each quarter, we will meet to discuss ideas, concerns, and ways to move your neighborhood and District 1 forward.

Communications

Help us to spread the word on important legislation, events, community meetings, and other important District 1 activity. Whether it’s canvassing your neighborhood, or sharing on social media, the more we can inform our neighbors, the better.

Event Planning

District 1 has several events throughout the year. As an volunteer ambassador, you can assist us with the planning and volunteering on the day of the event.
