During the national shelter-in-place order, many residents faced financial hardships due to job loss, layoffs, and illness. As one of several responses, Commissioner Patrick partnered with the Center for Pan Asian Community Services (CPACS) to assist residents with rental assistance and to stock the organization’s food pantry with a $230,000 CARES Act grant.

Located in District 1 on Shallowford Rd, the Center for Pan Asian Community Services, Inc. (CPACS) is a nonprofit organization that has been established as the first and largest Asian and Pacific Islander health and human service agency in the Southeast region. The organization offers a comprehensive range of services from advocacy to transportation for clients.
