DeKalb County, as with the rest the nation, is facing a housing crisis. From the lack of housing inventory to the high cost of rent, residents are dealing with a great deal of housing insecurity.
While this issue is multi-layered and complex, one segment of the housing-insecured population that is often overlooked are those living in extended stay motels.
In order to combat this epidemic, Commissioner Patrick partnered with St. Vincent de Paul to launch DeKalb’s first Motel-to-Home program.
