DECATUR, Ga.—On Friday, Aug. 20, 2021, District 1 County Commissioner Robert
Patrick will kick off a series of casual informal meetings with residents titled “Coffee
with Commissioner.”
The event is designed to provide a space for residents to come
out, meet their commissioner and discuss topics that matter the most to them while
enjoying a cup of coffee.

The first installment of this series will take place at Einstein Bro. Bagels, located at 4324
Lavista Rd., Tucker, Ga., from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. District 1 residents are encouraged to
attend.

“Whether you attend to discuss key issues such as stormwater concerns, water billing
issues, or if you just want to say hello, I will be there to listen. I look forward to meeting
and engaging with all that can attend,” Commissioner Robert Patrick said.

Commissioner Patrick has established several methods of communicating with his office
to foster community engagement. Constituents can send an email via
district1@dekalbcountyga.gov, visit the District 1 Constituent Portal at
https://bit.ly/2PlJhL1 (designed to allow residents to create a report outlining issues from
water bill discrepancies, to potholes, and the like), and now this in-person option.

Regardless of the format residents decide to use, Commissioner Patrick stands ready to
listen and advocate for all of District 1.
