I am excited to continue my partnership with the Alpha Beta Lambda Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Dunwoody, to host our 2026 Paper Shredding and Canned Food Drive. The first event of the year is scheduled for Saturday, April 11, from 8 a.m. to noon, or until the shredding truck reaches capacity.
Residents are invited to bring documents for secure disposal and donate nonperishable food items to support local food pantries. Now in its fourth year, this initiative has made a real impact across District 1—helping remove thousands of pounds of paper from circulation while providing hundreds of pounds of food for families in need.
Your participation ensures sensitive information is safely destroyed and neighbors in need receive vital support. I sincerely thank our community for making this program a success and look forward to seeing you April 11!
