In an effort to provide more outreach, education, and vaccination events in hard-to-reach communities, Commissioner Patrick’s office has partnered with DeKalb County Board of Health (BOH) by awarding the agency with 2 CARES Act grants.

The first, a $35,000 grant towards the BOH’s Mini Grant program designed to help small nonprofits to assist with Covid-19 community outreach and education.

An additional $50,000 was awarded to the BOH to assist the agency in implementing multiple vaccination events in the northern portion of DeKalb County.
